As someone who stayed in the Ronald McDonald House very recently for six months because of being sick, I just wanted to let you know that they will appreciate this so much & you are making so many little girls or boys happy. Seeing a sick little kid going into the magic room (it’s a room filled with gifts for special occasions) and picking out a toy with the biggest smile on their face is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Since being at the RMH I have made so many friends and they will forever be apart of my family. I’ve also seen so many little kids pass away unfortunately even during the few months I was there and it was the hardest thing in the world. So for you to donate all of this stuff is so heartwarming. Thank you so much ❤️

For the expired make up and food, you could clean out the the containers and reuse them for something else. The PEZ stuff make cool USB sticks. The popcorn tin would make a great storage bin for items like toys or make a great mini trash can. The nail polish and perfume bottles can be used as room decor . Just cut off the tubes and brushes and wash out the bottles with a litte nail polish remover. The eye shadow pallets could be cleaned out and used as cases for Nintendo DS and PS Vita games or SD memory cards.
The other plastic candy containers can be used as breath mint containers or for coins.
The make up compacts can be cleaned out and you can just use the mirrors.
Some of the shampoo and body wash bottles can be cleaned out and refilled with something else.
Some of the wrappers and packaging could be used in crafts.
